City of God women’s ministry, led by Pastor Felicia, conducted a donation drive for the Center. While they were delivering the supplies, they took a tour and decided to sponsor Christmas Day dinner. Thank you for all of your efforts!!
Mike and Harold, from Grace United Methodist Church, very generously donated 250 kitchen compartment trays to assist the Brisben Center’s Meal Program. We serve just under 95,000 meals each year are very grateful for this gift. Thank you!!!
RCCG Winners House of Worship Ministries of Dumfries hosted their Hope Alive celebration at the Brisben Center recently, delivering an incredible, positive impact on the residents. The congregation provided activities and crafts for the children, health assessments, Human Resource support, and a delicious home cooked lunch. Led by Liza and supported by Pastor Henry, this wonderful group brought a lot of love and smiles to our residents, making this day a very happy one! Thank you to the many that contributed in this event!!
The Fredericksburg chapter of the American Academy of Professional Coders conducted a donation drive of much needed supplies for the Brisben Center. They also generously made a financial donation which enables us to continue working hard to help our residents return to permanent housing. Thank you Fredericksburg Chapter of AAPC!!
Second grade teachers Liz and Jill, brought 26 beautiful birthday bags for our children residents. They recruited help from their school, Stafford Elementary School and received donations so each bag is like a birthday party. They have hats, treats decorations, presents and even giveaways. Thank you so much for helping our children enjoy their special day!!!
Move Church form Stafford made a delicious lunch for the residents on Saturday. This was their first time participating in our Meal Program and we are so happy they chose to help the Brisben Center. Led by Kassidy and supported by Pastor Scott, thank you Move Church!!
Jack and Jill of America conducted a wonderful donation drive for the Brisben Center recently. Thank you so much everyone! They will be back to help our residents celebrate Martin Luther King Day in January. We can’t wait!
Owner and Master Barber, Antione, of Faded and Co. brought co-worker James to the Brisben Center recently and offered free haircuts to all the residents. They spent several hours here and provided a wonderful service to our residents. This is their second visit here and the Brisben Center is very grateful. Thank you Antoine and James!!!
