From July 31 to August 6, enthusiastic and committed volunteers from Lifepoint Church demonstrated their faith and spirit of service to the homeless at the Brisben Center, our community’s 80-bed homeless shelter. The men, women and children at the Center enjoyed game nights, a kids' carnival, and delicious lunches prepared and served by Lifepoint members — as part of the church's Paint the Town Red service campaign.
But these "Lifepointers" didn't stop there! They tackled a total repainting of the Brisben Center men’s and women’s dormitories — while the facilities remained in use! The volunteers also repainted a family room that was vacant. All these efforts have significantly brightened the stay for today's and tomorrow’s homeless men, women and children.
A huge Brisben Center THANK YOU to all the Lifepoint volunteer — and to the hardworking coordinators, Sherilyn Preston, Christie Spousta and Melissa Bonille .
