What's New Neighborhood Assistance Program
The Shelter has evolved into a respected and quality program that offers numerous ways of helping people regain self-sufficiency. Through multiple services , existing and new, we can meet the needs of almost any circumstance. The Shelter now has several computers that are available for residents to prepare resumes with, learn to type, or do homework on. Formal computer training aids our residents in obtaining skills for gainful employment. Actual GED training on site has provided more than nine people their GEDs! What a wonderful experience! The SITES program began in October, 2000 after much planning and dedication on the part of numerous key staff.
