Causes of Homelessness

Contrary to typical opinion, people who are, or have been, homeless cannot be stereotyped into one category.   Homelessness is a result of a traumatic event ranging from a lack of gainful employment to substance abuse or mental illness.   Some major factors resulting in homelessness are:
